About the RoleÂ
The Lead Therapist will be responsible for clinical supervision and operational management of a team of therapists, in addition to providing direct patient care themselves. The Lead Therapist will work closely with the Clinical leadership team to provide effective clinical supervision in the evidence-based treatments that Equip provides to patients and ensure work productivity that supports the goals of the business. Above all, the Lead Therapist is motivated by the ultimate goal of providing the highest quality evidence-based treatments for eating disorders so that everyone can achieve lasting recovery.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Effectively manage a team of therapists, including setting performance expectations, providing continuous feedback, writing and delivering performance reviews, and initiating performance improvement plans when necessary.
Provide evidence-based family-based treatment, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders in a virtual clinic (i.e., telehealth) setting.
Serve as case manager for assigned patients, coordinating care across a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers in accordance with Equip’s policies and procedures.
Engage and collaborate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
Provide individual and group supervision and consultation to a team of therapists focused on the delivery of evidence-based eating disorders treatment and patient safety-related concerns.
Utilize data to manage a team of therapists to meet operational and quality-focused company and team goals.
Execute change management tactics in partnership with Clinical leadership;, effectively disseminating information to therapists, managing accountability to productivity goals and Care Delivery policies and procedures.
Provide administrative oversight, logistical support, and session coverage, as needed, for the patients assigned to direct reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsÂ
Fully licensed in Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy with ability to obtain Supervisor delegation from state of residence, if needed.
Must maintain an active license to practice in the state(s) where their patients reside and be willing to become licensed in other states (paid for by Equip).
2+ years of experience treating eating disorders.
Experience providing clinical supervision and/or serving as a people manager to therapists.
Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively deliver evidence-based outpatient care in a virtual care model working on interdisciplinary teams.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Data driven with demonstrated experience using data to guide clinical care and preferred experience with holding others accountable to performance metrics.
Organized and results-driven.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment including the strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits Package
Compensation:
Earning Potential Range: $115,000 to $126,000 Annually
Consists of Base Pay + 15% Annual Performance-Based Bonus Potential

Loan Repayment:

Licensing:
Equip reimburses fees associated with initial licensure and license renewals (e.g. application to the state board, exam fees, exam study materials, etc.) for any Equip-required licenses and/or cross-licensure requests.
Continuing Education:
Robust training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including Family-Based Treatment, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID. Comparable training workshops and supervision in these modalities are valued over $3,000.

Up to $1,000/year stipend for continuing education.
Opportunities to attend team onsites and conferences at various locations throughout the US.
Work From Home Additional Perks:
$50/month stipend added directly to an employee’s paycheck to cover home internet expenses.

Physical DemandsÂ
Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
