We are seeking licensed physicians to serve as Telehealth Physicians for 9amHealth. In this role, you will provide synchronous video appointments and asynchronous consultations to patients with cardiometabolic conditions. You will also provide clinical advice and supervision to other members of the 9amHealth interdisciplinary care team, which consists of registered dieticians, clinical pharmacists, health coaches, ARNPs and RNs.
This is a part time W2 role dedicated to caring for 9amHealth members across in Georgia. We are interested in candidates who can provide at least 20 hours/week.
Consistently maintain a clinic schedule of both synchronous video visits and asynchronous consultations, ensuring timely and comprehensive care for 9amHealth’s members.
Provide evidence based care to patients with complex cardiometabolic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia).
Perform medical assessments appropriate to the encounter, review patient histories, and address patient concerns within the scope of the appointment.
Provide medical recommendations, prescriptions, or referrals as appropriate, consistent with state medical licensure and applicable standards of care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters in 9amHealth’s electronic health record system, limited to information generated during the synchronous visit.
Conduct asynchronous telehealth consultations with patients on demand, which are prepared and submit to you by our multidisciplinary Care Team.
Supervise and provide clinical decision support to multidisciplinary Care Team members.
Act as supervising physician for advanced practice providers (ARNPs).
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Active board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Obesity Medicine, or a related specialty.
Valid, unrestricted medical licenses in Georgia
Experience treating cardiometabolic conditions, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity.
Strong communication skills and ability to deliver care virtually.
Prior telemedicine experience strongly preferred.
