This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Physician Coding Operations Manager - REMOTE. In this vital role, you will oversee the Physician Coding Operations, including Outpatient and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Operations. You will establish and manage project plans that meet business and client goals, ensuring quality and performance management across various operational parameters. This position plays a central role in communicating with providers and leadership, and proactively managing potential risks. Engaging with various departments to achieve targets is key to your success in this role.


Accountabilities
  • Oversee Physician Coding Operations, Outpatient, and CDI Operations
  • Establish and manage project plans aligned with business goals
  • Provide education to providers and leadership in both written and oral formats
  • Identify and manage risks related to plan deviation
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Finance, IT, and other support areas to achieve targets


Requirements
  • University Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Management experience overseeing physician coding teams
  • Experience in Outpatient, Clinical Documentation, and/or Revenue Integrity teams
  • CPC coding certification from AAPC
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report creation in Word or Excel
