Position description
As a Surrogate Engagement Nurse you will be responsible for collaborating with Health
Information Specialists and Coordinators to complete medical record reviews for
surrogate applicants.
Position responsibilities
● Work closely with Health Information Specialists to obtain medical records
● Review medical records in a timely manner to determine eligibility
● Ensure medical records are organized, accurate and complete
● Maintain applicant profiles and data in CRM platform
● Foster and maintain relationships with fertility clinic’s third-party professionals
● Collaborate with fertility clinics to facilitate match acceptance
Experience and skills
● An associate’s or bachelor’s nursing degree
● Minimum 3 years IVF or OB/GYN experience
● Excellent references
● Above average computer/ technical skills
● Attention to detail and organized approach to accomplishing tasks
● Professionalism in personality, appearance, and work product
● Effective written and verbal communication style, with clear, grammatically
correct language
● Proven ability to work individually and to bring joy to a collaborative work
environment
● Ability to learn quickly and also adapt to an environment with an equal mix of
change and repetition
● Courage to use keen problem-solving skills and help refine the processes of a
growing business
● Some connection to the field of fertility strongly preferred
