About the Role
We’re seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing remote team. This is a full-time, fully remote (within California) position—but that doesn’t mean “set your own schedule.” Our Nurse Practitioners work within a consistent and structured weekly schedule, ensuring continuity of care and team collaboration.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment, collaborates well across disciplines, and brings strong personal integrity and time management to their independent work. If you’re looking for a team that values quality care, clear systems, and strong clinical collaboration—you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct telehealth evaluations, assessments, and medication management sessions
- Up to 50% of appointments will be reserved for completion of thorough assessments of individuals who have recently been discharged from emergency room settings and determining best next steps for ongoing care. This requires a high level of comfort with working in a higher level of care setting than a normal 1:1 setting (psychiatric hospital care, IOP/PHP, residential treatment facilities, etc.)
- Collaborate with therapists and supervising psychiatrist to provide integrated care
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in the EMR
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families
- Stay current with psychiatric care practices, telehealth trends, and CME requirements
What You’ll Need
- Active California NP license and PMHNP certification in good standing
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Strong clinical judgment and understanding of psychiatric medications
- Solid telehealth skills, including comfort with EMRs and virtual platforms
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
Who You Are
- Grounded in integrity and personal responsibility—you show up fully and consistently
- Able to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative care team
- Skilled at managing your time, caseload, and clinical notes without constant oversight
- A clear communicator with strong documentation and follow-through
- Experienced with higher levels of care (psychiatric hospital care, community based services, prison setting, IOP, SUD facilities, partial hospitalization programs...)
- Committed to delivering equitable and effective care to diverse communities
Why Join Us?
- Structured full-time schedule and predictable workdays
- Close collaboration with therapists, psychiatrists, and admin support
- Systems designed to support your clinical focus—not overburden you
- A mission-driven culture with high standards, mutual respect, and clinical excellence
Pay Range is $170,000 - $190,000 annually. We have a very structure pay system that is dependent on years of direct psychiatric mental health experience. We pay a 10% differential for those who are bilingual, Spanish speaking in the clinical setting.
