<section class="Job_column1__SMcVh"><h2 class="h6 text-red uppercase">AT A GLANCE</h2>RVO Health seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary medical weight loss team. As a provider, you will diagnose, treat, and manage obesity as a chronic disease and its related comorbidities. This whole-person, programmatic primary care model transforms virtual healthcare nationwide by supporting each patient with care navigators, case managers, dietitians, and medical providers. This fully remote, full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.</section><section class="Job_column2__EY2DH"><h2>What You’ll Do</h2>You will deliver virtual primary care focused on obesity management through synchronous (real-time) virtual telemedicine. All duties must comply with state and federal laws and adhere to evidence-based medical standards. This role offers the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. while tackling important healthcare challenges.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deliver comprehensive virtual medical weight loss care including patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, chronic condition management and follow-up care.</li><li>Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, dietitians, care navigators, engagement specialists, Registered Nurses</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe appropriate medications and evidence-based treatment regimens, and adjust care plans as clinically indicated. </li><li>Engage patients in shared decision-making, clearly explaining treatment options, risk and benefits while promoting adherence to prescribed regimens and follow-up care.</li><li>Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered counseling that fosters sustainable lifestyle changes and ensures a safe, respectful space for patients to share challenges and successes.</li><li>Communicate effectively and compassionately via synchronous telemedicine visits and asynchronous messaging, addressing patient concerns promptly and thoroughly.</li><li>Participate in regular clinical team meetings and care conferences, contributing to case discussions, continuous learning and practice involvement</li><li>Coordinate care and exchange relevant patient information with local healthcare providers/organizations in compliance with HIPAA and state telehealth regulations</li><li>Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the EHR, ensuring clear, compliant and up-to-date pt records. </li><li>Support operational excellence by performing necessary administrative tasks and adhering to collaborative practice agreements and state specific telehealth laws.  </li></ul><h2>What We’re Looking For</h2>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Active, unencumbered NP, APRN license: must be in good standing and eligible to practice in designated states.  </li><li>Board certification in Family or Adult by recognized certifying body (ANCC/AANP)</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience with at least 1 year in obesity medicine and telemedicine each</li><li>Multi-state licensure - actively holds 7+ state licenses without restrictions & with valid prescriptive authority</li><li>Commitment to health equity and providing culturally relevant care.</li><li>Willingness to learn and practice the treatment of medical weight loss.</li><li>Comfortable navigating modern telemedicine platforms, digital health tools, and adapting evolving protocols.</li><li>Strong clinical judgment and autonomy.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Licensure flexibility - must be able to qualify for and obtain unrestricted licensure in additional states as required by clinical platform </li><li>Valid prescriptive authority (per State practice requirements)</li><li>Reliable internet connectivity: Access to high-speed home internet that meets the platform’s minimum technical standards</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Obesity medicine certification or training</li><li>Previous telemedicine experience.</li><li>Multi-state licensure (compact or multiple states) - preferred 10+</li><li>Familiarity with value-based or outcomes-oriented care models.</li><li>Team-oriented and mission aligned.</li><li>Excellent presentation skills for both clinical and non-clinical audiences</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision and drive results with disciplined follow-through</li><li>Immediately available</li></ul>Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company.
