Mental Health Therapist

Position: Full-Time
Location: Albany, NY
Salary: $115,000 – $120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary
Our recruitment team is supporting a New York behavioral health group in hiring a Telehealth Mental Health Therapist. From Albany or elsewhere in NY, you’ll meet clients via video, track progress over time, and work under clinical supervision to deliver structured, goal-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide video-based therapy sessions in a secure online setting
• Complete diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
• Consult regularly with a supervising therapist/clinical supervisor
• Keep thorough and timely session notes and related documentation
• Participate in remote supervision and team discussions

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, MFT or similar
• Active NY license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.)
• Previous experience in clinical therapy roles
• Comfortable managing a steady caseload in a virtual environment
