We are looking for a dynamic Massage Therapist to join our partner clinic in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Schedule:

  • Part-time with the potential to grow into full-time book of business
  • Float between 2 locations – zip codes 19003 and 19103

 

 

Position Summary:
In this position, you will deliver specialized MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) massage therapy to patients recovering from surgery, as well as provide elective wellness treatments. You will also support combination therapies that integrate other recovery methods, significantly enhancing patient wellness and comfort. The ideal candidate should be a team player and feel confident in cross-selling and discussing additional treatments and services offered in the practice with patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massages for post-operative patients, facilitating effective recovery.
  • Provide elective massage treatments for relaxation and wellness, along with custom combination treatments featuring other wellness therapies.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment to optimize patient satisfaction.
  • Assist with additional wellness services and recovery treatments as needed.
  • Assist with answering phones, following up on leads and inquiries, and other tasks (laundry, intermittent desk coverage, etc)

 

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Massage Therapist with experience in MLD massage for face and body, specifically for post-surgical patients (required).
  • Additional certifications in related wellness or recovery modalities are a plus, though not required.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and support various wellness and recovery services.
