Position Details

Location: North Carolina
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will provide telehealth counseling services to individuals, couples, and families across North Carolina. This role involves conducting virtual therapy sessions, completing clinical assessments, creating treatment plans, and helping clients work through relationship concerns, family conflict, communication challenges, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. You will manage a regular caseload, document client progress, and provide professional clinical support through a secure remote platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families
  • Complete clinical assessments and identify treatment goals
  • Develop, review, and update client treatment plans
  • Support clients with relationship concerns, family conflict, anxiety, grief, and adjustment challenges
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when appropriate
  • Follow HIPAA, ethical, and state licensing requirements for telehealth care
  • Maintain a private and professional remote workspace for client sessions

Requirements

  • Active LMFT license in North Carolina
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong clinical documentation and treatment planning skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote care
