Location: Remote with resident city limitations. Candidates must be based in one of the following greater metropolitan areas: Salt Lake City, Seattle/Tacoma, Oakland/East Bay, Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Denver. Candidates living outside of these metropolitan cities CANNOT be considered.
Compensation: $155,000-185,000 salary, with additional bonuses and commissions based on performance. This is a W2 Employee position.
We're looking for an energetic, people-oriented Clinical Educator NP/PA & Travel Nurse to join our team. This position will be serving as a key representative of our organization while collaborating with primary care teams to improve patient outcomes. This role combines clinical practice and education with national travel. You will be responsible for:
- Providing interim clinical coverage at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) nationwide for providers on extended leave.
- Training and onboarding new Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants, ensuring they are set up for success.
Who you are: Description: A dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who loves to travel, care for patients, and teach; possessing a passion for physiatry and a knack for building strong relationships with medical teams as well as mentoring new providers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Educator NP/PA & Travel Nurse you will:
- Provide Physiatry Services In Post Acute Facilities: Provide interim clinical coverage at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) nationwide for providers on extended leave. This will be ~50% of the job (decreasing as the company grows).
- Train and educate new NPs and PAs on the principles and procedures of physiatry, including joint and trigger point injections, spasticity treatments, and various pain management strategies. This will be ~50% of the job (increasing as the company grows).
- Facilitate successful integration by introducing new providers to facility administrators and primary care teams, helping them establish excellent working relationships.
- Provide guidance on developing efficient patient rounding schedules and streamlined charting processes as well as the skills needed to perform treatments, even to providers inexperienced in physiatry and new graduates.
- Travel extensively (48-50 weeks per year, Monday through Friday; longer only if the interim clinical coverage requires a longer stay - but rarely longer than 2 weeks at most) to various skilled nursing facilities nationwide. We currently operate in 10 states with ambitions to serve all 50 states within the next 5 years. You will be crucial in achieving this goal.
Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting role, you must have:
- A current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
- A valid medical and DEA license.
- At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in Physiatry, PM&R, Skilled Nursing Facilities, or Post-Acute Care. This is a MUST.
- A passion for educating others and a people-first personality.
- Availability and willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods
